DESCRIPTION:The Camden Climax is set to be performed this August during the Arundel Festival. \nThis play marks the final instalment in a trilogy written by Dr Justine Hextall and Julie Markey. The journey began with Broca’s Area\, a play exploring the breakdown of a marriage between a cardiologist and his physician wife. Told through a cleverly interwoven dual narrative\, the audience was invited to promenade through the performance space\, experiencing both perspectives in an immersive way. \nTheir second play\, La Vie En Rose\, reimagined the same characters a year later\, grappling with the fallout of an affair and professional upheaval. As the curtain fell\, Roger and Fiona were bound for Paris — but was it truly La Belle Vie\, or would the weight of their past prove too much to leave behind? \nNow\, in the concluding chapter\, The Camden Climax\, we meet them once again. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that\, following the success of last year’s event\, Dr Justine Hextall and Julie Markey will once again be hosting their Moth-inspired storytelling evening\, with all proceeds going to The Sussex Snowdrop Trust. \nCommonly known as “The Moth\,” this storytelling format invites individuals to share true\, personal stories without the aid of notes or scripts. It’s all about forging a genuine connection with the audience through a conversational style. Each story is no longer than five minutes and\, most importantly\, is a real-life experience told by the person who lived it. \nThis year’s theme is “Temptation\,” promising a captivating evening.
