It was a scorcher, but the stunning setting and wonderful atmosphere made it a truly memorable day. There were fantastic Sunday afternoon vibes as families relaxed in the shade, enjoying garden games—thanks to Arundel Lido and Boca Loco for generously lending them. Spectators kept cool with refreshing drinks and ice creams while taking in the quintessential English scene of cricket, with players dressed in traditional whites against the beautiful backdrop of Arundel Castle. And not forgetting the guitarist, our volunteer, Keith and incredible jazz from Mike Carey and friends.

Despite the heat, the players put on a superb display of cricket, producing an afternoon full of excitement. Congratulations to Fernhurst, who were crowned tournament champions after a thrilling finish!

A heartfelt thank you to all the players, supporters and spectators, along with the teams from Aldwick, Arundel Grasshoppers, Madehurst Cricket Club and everyone who supported our charity raffle. Together, you helped raise an incredible £933 for our charity.
